Got Stress?

Our weather is getting a bit chilly in the evening (nothing like MN where I’m from) but that’s usually how winters are. A lot of people around me have been getting sick lately. It has nothing to do with the weather but more than anything with stress levels. So here are a few recommendations to strengthen your immune system.

  1. Manage your stress, exercise helps.
  2. Nutrition is important as it helps support your immune system. Eat as many whole foods as possible (veggies, protein, and fruit).
  3. Go to bed early and try to get at least 8 hours of sleep.
  4. Keep technology out of your bedroom – LED lights mess with your circadian rhythm (sleep cycle) so make sure to have some yellow light in your bedroom (salt lamps for example).
  5. Remove stress on your nerve system by getting adjusted by a chiropractor on a regular basis (I recommend weekly or biweekly).
