This is my vegetarian twist on a recipe I received from my mother years and years ago.


12 oz. Mornngstar Meal Starters - Grillers Recipe Crumbles

1/2 cup water

2 - 26 oz jars of pasta sauce

1 pound package lasagna noodles

1 cup cottage cheese

12 oz mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Chopped parsley

Dash of Sea Salt


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Mix Morningstar Crumbles, spaghetti sauce, water, and salt, bring to a boil.  In a 9x15 greased baking dish, layer hot sauce, uncooked noodles, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese.  Repeat layers ending with sauce.  Garnish with parsley, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.  Cover with foil and bake at 3750 for one hour.  Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Note:  I've also done this recipe without boiling the sauce - it works just as well.
