What is Colic and What Does it Have to do with Chiropractic?

Colic is any sudden, violent pain, especially that is produced by contraction of the muscular walls of a hollow organ whose opening is partly or completely blocked.  In infants, intestinal colic is characterized by drawing up of the legs, restlessness, and constant crying.

Chiropractic care helps enable your body to work at its fullest potential by removing nerve interference through correcting subluxation (a vertebra out of proper alignment) with chiropractic adjustments.  By correcting the alignment of the vertebra, you can now see the direct correlation between your possible conditions and spine alignment.  Keeping your spine aligned properly allows your body to function at an optimum level, which will often result in a disappearance of these symptoms and conditions.
