Wisdom and Wonder

Have you ever found yourself marveling at Mother Nature's inventions?

Whether it was the rebirth of a forest after disaster or the peacefulness of a sleeping baby?  When was the last time you had lunch with an old friend or read thoughts from the ancient sages and prophets?  Wisdom and wonder; the two go hand in hand.  Wonder is a huge word.  It allows you to be curious and amazed at the same time.  With wonder you find yourself wide eyed as your mind dances with possibility.  Wisdom is your doorway to truth.  It comes from time and experience.  A few minutes with a wise person can provide an unexpected sense of calmness, a gentle reminder that all is as it should be.

It's time now to celebrate your own internal wisdom; your body's wisdom.  Celebrate with every ounce of wonder you can muster.  Allow yourself to be awed.  Instead of focusing on what you perceive to be wrong, take a moment and look at what is right and true.  A bad haircut doesn't last forever.  Your skin provides you with a custom pair of sunglasses to protect you from the sun (otherwise known as a tan!).  It's astounding that the body can coordinate unprecedented numbers of functions, simultaneously, in the blink of the eye.  Consider that the physiological coordination of sight and smell into gastric secretions and the muscular action necessary to reach for the last brownie, will be the same acts of coordination resulting in a smile of delight as you take the last bite!

Enjoy the wonder of your body's wisdom and own the simple truth that a clear and unsubluxated nerve system enables that wisdom to function optimally.  Health is not complicated and neither is chiropractic care.  Get the most out of your body's wisdom by staying well adjusted.

In search of our pleasures, we must be sure we don't stop on the treasures that are right under our feet.
